Mark Yount

I've been a music educator for over 25 years.  In that time I've had the opportunity to work with every age group there is.  I started my career teaching middle school for 16 years.  I followed that with 5 years as an elementary school teacher and finally 6 years as a high school choir director.  During that time I've also worked with several universities as both a clinician and as a mentor teacher.  I've been lucky enough to work with both very large schools and classes (my 7th grade choir was regularly 180+ students) and I've worked with schools where the entire choir program was less than 30.  What matters, is making a difference for students.  Finding them where they are, and helping them continue their musical journey to the next level.
